REVIEW:
To be brutal here (almost as brutal as the killings within) this book from Lee Weeks was one that was more middle of the road than real trend setter for me. Whilst the Scandinavians have a good foothold on the market, they tend to be the ones that are presenting readers with something not only new but tales that will stick with you long after the final page is turned.
Whilst this book fails on that angle, there is a good plotline, the characters are reasonable but for me, it just felt lacklustre almost as if it was there to just settle in with the other books out there rather than strike out on its one. All round a book that is an OK read if you’ve nothing better to do but if you want a crime title that really will kick you in the guts, then go for one of the current plethora of European Crime.
